Kale chips

Kale chips preheat oven to 325

  1. break kale into pieces about the size of cookies. leave out stems
  2. put in big bowl and add a couple of tbspoons of oil. (a bit of sesame oil is great)
  3. rub the oil into the kale.  Susannah adds salt at this point, but I wait until baked.
  4. arrange on cookie sheet (i use parchment paper as it absorbs excess oil) slightly overlaying each other.
  5. bake at 325 for 10 minutes (any higher and you get the oil making more  Acrylamides)

You might have to take them out after 5 minutes or so to separate them here and there.

can be crushed and added to popcorn too!
