Questions and answers – feel free to ask one

Hello!

I love questions.  I love ’seizing the teaching moment’. No question is too dumb, too weird ( I hear that one a lot), or too silly. Please give yourself back the right to ask as many questions as you have.  Remember, life gives us lots of questions and not so many good enough answers.  However, the problem with asking questions is that they lead to more questions.

Please ask away and know that I will keep your name anonymous and if you don’t feel answered or need more clarification, ask again.

p.s.  it might take a while for me to get around to answering them, and I might rearrange your question to suit my intent.

Why do I abandon myself and try to be someone I am not??

short answer:

It’s a fear-based conditioned response to give up our power, our authentic selves in order to feel connected and safe and not be abandoned or made an outcast by those our survival depends on – at least initially, then its projected onto all others and life.

longer response not quite finished.

Always go to the depth of where the intent is.  Your intent is to be loved, cared for, receive positive response from others and life.  Acknowledge that, accept yourself and your state of awareness by finding and releasing judgments and beliefs.  Learn to bear your experience around this and feel yourway through.  Use this process to help develop your inner compassionate witness ( I’m good enough, smart enough and goll darn it people love me).  The intent is beautiful, the way we try to make it happen is what we have learned to do.

Start by realizing we would rather give up our power (authentic self) then to be abandoned by those who raise us. We were helpless children dependent on adults for our survival.  We got approval for what we did often more than just who we were.  This often leaves us feeling that we cant be accepted or loved just for being alive, taking form and being on the planet.

Oh well.  To become conscious of how we give ourselves away is often awkward and after the fact.  ….more soon~!
